  • I am still working on these, but if anyone wants to point me towards any I may have missed, or have any comments on them so far, please feel free to speak up.

I am concerned that I am taking the idea of an 'origin story' too broadly in some cases. I am also trying to think of how best to organize them so that it is not just a long list of story links, as it is now.

  • I just noticed that I forgot to set it to "Request for Review". It should be visible for reviewers now.

  • We are not allowed to post too many links in one message (5 max it seems) so I am going to trim my post and separate it in several messages.

You might want to rename that as "Introduction" stories. Many of them aren't really "Origins," but introductions. A Single Fold and The Big Idea, neither show where the characters came from, but only big changes in their lives.

  • Also, Petra 1 is hardly her "origin" story -- rather, it's her first solo story after Circuit Breaker was split into Paige and Petra.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

  • Also, don't forget Tansy's heel face turn beginning in A Pocketful of Tansy.

  • Gotcha. I listed both that and "Bottle a Jinn" for her under "The Alphas".

  • I was looking through the document and noticed that 'Shine is listed under 'Other Whateley Students', where he should be listed under 'Expected Arrivals in Fall 2007'. Other than this, this looks like a fairly comprehensive list. Thanks for your efforts.

Been a while but I didn't think Shine had any dating to him.

  • The last date stamp in Shine is 'July, 2007'. During the section, Shine receives his rejection letter from Whateley and appeals his rejection letter. It is implied that he joins the school the following fall.

  • So, on the Standalone Starting Points, I wonder if crystalhall.wikia.com/wiki/Garafena_(Story) would fit... Garafena

Or Catgirl Madness ? ... Basically, anything that doesn't tie into a larger plotline would fit on there?

Steel Ribbon , Roulette , and the other origin stories might also go there as well? 'Cause they don't knowledge of prequels to make sense? Even though they do lead into further stories, now?

... Basically, I've just been looking through the Wiki list of Stories and seeing which ones pop to mind when I think "You don't need to know any other stories to get this one", but my assessment might be off?
