I expect anyone with regen would.
If it's chemical, their systems would expel the poisons faster, as it would any other drugs.
If it is an injury to the brain that caused the unconsciousness, their regen would heal it faster like any other injury.

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

It depends on the source of the unconsciousness.
Regeneration is not a mindless process, there seems to be some guiding hand to it. There are documented cases of severely injured persons, say severe burn victims, whose regeneration actually held them in comas so the damage could be repaired. In one instance, a woman with 90% third degree burns was held in a regeneration coma for over a year as her entire body regenerated and nothing the doctors could do would revive her until the power allowed her to wake up. Or so the theory goes.
Not that that has anything to do with anything.

Unless their pattern, BIT, curse, or what-have-you includes unconsciousness as their normal or ideal state, probably. If your BIT is modelled after Sleeping Beauty, your mileage may vary.
As noted above, there's likely some prioritization going on - a functioning circulatory system is a bit more critical to life than being awake. But if the person's regen ability is limited, or they don't have the energy to pull off the fixes needed, they might just be treated to staying awake and aware as their body shuts down around them.

Now I am thinking of a story involving one of the King Who Sleeps Under The Hill figures - similar to the legends of Arthur, Roland, Barbarossa, etc. - awakening, possible one from pre-Sundering Atlantis even. We already have a Once and Future King - or rather, Queen - in Fey, and another pair of them with Dúrnir and Aegloswen, with Dúrnir also fitting the Sleeping King trope (though I think Elle might have something obscene to say about it if Dúrnir's host tried to force them into fulfilling the prophecy) but is there any way that Oberon might have survived in a state of suspended animation?

It's been fairly well documented throughout the stories that Regens quickly build up immunity to drugs. Whisper recovered from a knockout drug in minutes instead of hours. Jade was saving up the use of those drugs for other surgeries. Jack recovered from being KOed by Megs within minutes, or even less, but she measured her punch so as not to do serious damage.
Don't Drick and Drive.
