    • Ok considering the appetites of the stronger energizers ecetera. Why would someon that eats like Tennyo think seats further way from the food service are are better? Wouldn't powerhouse teams sit closer to the food so the major appetites can hit the lines for reloading trays faster?

    Simple - the high-school mentality 'status' game. The top floor is better, so it's a sign you're in higher social standing to sit there. And for many students, that status quest outweighs the need for food.

    Exactly. A place where all the jocks in high school sit. My sons high school has both booths and tables with the round seats. Guess where the jocks, cheerleaders and such sit at? Oh and there's roughly 9-10 of those booths. So its like a social status and yes its farther away from where the serving lines are.

    • With the exception of Jimmy T, Razor', and a few others, the need for excessive amounts of food aren't "eat as much as I can carry or I'll die" situations, and while it may be a pain to have to go up and down, sometimes friends will bring seconds or at one and a quarters. (we saw that with Phase and the fried chicken, he got himself a piece and brought back a tray full for Hank and Billie)

    Some of the heavy eaters are down on the first floor, Jimmy T and the Monster Squad eat or ate there.

    • Also, the additional travel time involved in sitting on the third floor probably isn't very significant compared to the time it takes to actually go through the lines.
