Question TV Shows/Movies

Given how new shows are cropping up with new superhero's and such do these shows have a creative influence on your writings now or do you forgo watching them for fear of influencing your writing.

Given examples are: Hero's Reborn, Supergirl, Jessica Jones, The Avengers and so forth.

I haven't had cable in 14 years. So no.
But I really want to watch Jessica Jones. Loved the comic.

I've never had cable in my life. Hasn't stopped me from watching Agents of SHIELD.

So, History of the World, Part 0? With the showstopper "A Connecticut Jewish in Queen Unga-Dunga's Court"? (Because half of Mel Brooks' jokes are Jewish related )

Space Gagetters.

Led by the beautiful but obnoxious Tansy, in her luxurious but never completed fission powered Class A tour bus she must overcome her tainted desires from Jerico who seeks to take over the galaxy's clothing line.

Aided by her failure of a ward The Don she gleefully scarifies him to the ever clingy Necromancer in the hopes of obtaining the crystal thimble in his quest for the perfect needle.

Eventually our heroin seeks out the aid of twin sisters 'MeWicked' and 'Medication Girl' who rides the cosmos on their ever cuddly and faithful bison mount Cuddlepups.

Eventually the team secures the help of Kodiak for a Kodak moment as Tansy falls head over heels into his ever loving arms despite the objections of MeWicked. Together the trio of offgate lovers secure the missing thimble enabling our heroin to puncture Jerico's inability to perceive a fashion contract and allows him to achieve a new high in his everquest guide to stardom.

If new movies are secured a future feature film will be in the works. How the Gagetteers conquered Frankenwiners Fraulein monster of the too tights.

We already know from one of the Ayla stories that movies aren't always the same ones released here or have the same actors/actresses in the roles. As it was mentioned several Marvel films, most we know but one was Hulk: 1606, which never stood a chance of being made in this reality. So what other movie properties could exist in the Whateley Universe that never got picked up here? What movies might be different due to different writer/s, director, producer, actors, actresses, etc. Let that drive your imaginations down the rabbit hole.

Actually I was thinking of the special effects in the Whateley universe concerning Star Wars. Would the effects have been of a more superior quality? Also what of TV's Twilight Zone.

Also the 1970's version of The Hobbit. I'm sure that would have definitely been different as with the never made sequels.

All the gadgeteers and devisors are inspired to build a fleet of landspeeders.
