  • Happy new year right back at you , mate.

How do you intend on celebrating it, if at all?

Me? I'm currently in the process of making the greatest two pieces (because 1 just isn't enough) of steak I've ever gotten a hold off in my life. And then I plan on eating both of them.

Happy New Years to all of you and good wishes for a new and hopefully even better year.

  • Happy New Year, everyone. I hope everyone has a safe and fun time. As for me I'm watching TV and resting, caught a bug yesterday and sore all over now. :S

Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked. :-) Note: My story comments can't nor are trying to replace reading the stories, simply my way of enjoying them and letting the authors know I enjoy them.

  • Kicking back with some Guinness and working on gen 2 story 3. I may or may not be drunk, which may or may not make what I write better. I also may or may not care at the moment. :p

And I got some parts to add to story 3. Gotta knock out Odds and Ends first. So I'm here, sipping cognac and writing. but I'm not drunk :) Not yet.

I will take solace in the fact that I know everything goes through a lot of editing before most of us ever see it...

No alcohol for me, just cooking and maybe playing some cards... Happy New Year, everybody.

But its fun to hear how they talk about writing when their drunk. Its like listening to a singer after a few belts. Afterwards its the fun of them trying to figure out what the hell they wrote, if they could get past the keys that they hit not sure what it was they was saying. Celtic writing is the best kind. :P

Now I'm going back to what I was doing. Watching LoTR's and going through the books my beloved gave me. For me its a time of remembrance of loved ones now past and although she wanted me to carry on, there are times its hard. Maybe I should take up drinking. But then again I'm glad I don't. I'm crazy enough as it is and don't need anymore help me go further.

    And Happy New Year.

  • I missed this thread earlier in the year.

We wnet down to the workshop, drank malt whisky, watched fireworks on the big screen, and gossiped about technology, what we had built last year, and what we would work on this year.

It was a nice night, if a little low-key compared with previous years.

"May the best of the old year be the worst of the new."
